2012 Game Day Staff
The Green Bay Bullfrogs are seeking friendly, motivated team players for summer employment at Joannes Stadium.  Are you a people person?  Are you a person of integrity with a good work ethic?  Then a summer job with the Green Bay Bullfrogs may be for you!  Our summer jobs will provide you with a fun and exciting environment to earn extra money for the summer.
As an employee of the Green Bay Bullfrogs Baseball Club, you will receive a unique opportunity to be a 'team player' in a sports setting.  This experience will allow you to be a part of our summer league duties for about 35 home games, with the possibility of more days if the Bullfrogs enter the playoffs.  Included in your job description is hard work on a daily basis. 

Other responsibilities include:
* Willingness to work where needed in areas of Joannes Stadium: This includes, but is not limited to areas of concessions, ushering, ticket taking, customer service, and park cleanup.
* As an employee of the Bullfrogs, you will be expected to work in fast paced situations, and show a positive attitude with exceptional costumer service skills. 
* As an employment expectation, you will be required to dress appropriately, and to participate in paid orientation and training sessions.
* We are looking for employees that can work most of the 35 home game days!
* Employees will NOT be watching the game!

Director of Tickets - Green Bay Bullfrogs Baseball Club (Green Bay, WI)

Do you have what it takes to be the best? Ticket sales are the lifeblood of sports teams. As the Director of Ticket Sales you will be over all ticket accounts for the Green Bay Bullfrogs Baseball Club.The Director of Tickets will be responsible for Season Ticket accounts, mini-plans, groups and party deck bookings and report directly to the General Manager. You will work with the General Manager to bring in seasonal sales associates to help with season tickets and group sales prior to the season. You will develop a "sell out mentality" of ticket sales and how to sell to large groups in the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set 12-15 appointments a week
• Make an assigned number of phone calls a day
• Establish overall Season Ticket sales goals
• Establish overall Group Sales goals
• Aid in the creation of all sales and support materials
• Provides daily and weekly reports to the General Manager
• Candidate must be able to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve directives
• Strong Organizational and time management skills
• Execute a plan to increase group sales volume
• Strong Work Ethic and burning desire to be successful in sports industry
• Must be proactive in cultivating new business
• Maintain a territory and program of leads and contribute to the overall sales goals
• Attend networking events
• Actively prospect and generate new leads
• Assist in selling high end group assets
• Provide daily and weekly reports to the General Manager
• Provide unsurpassed customer service for all clients
• Lead Box Office staff & Box Office operations during the Bullfrogs season
• Lead and train Ticket Sales Interns during the Bullfrogs season

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1.) Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Sports Management preferred

Sponsorship Sales & Service: Director of Corporate Sponsorship Sales - Green Bay Bullfrogs Baseball Club (Green Bay, WI)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for generating and developing new business through leads, name collection activities, cold calls, networking events, speaking engagements, etc.
• Prepares and presents proposals or contractual agreements to potential advertisers and core customers (those interested in tickets).
• Works in conjunction with President and General Manager in coordinating group events to returning and new clients.
• Keep accurate sales files, customer services files, call reports, appointment schedule reports, prospects reports, etc. Maintain weekly communication on all activity reports.
• Works closely with General Manager to achieve cross departmental revenue generation goals.
• Works with General Manager in the servicing of sponsorship accounts and sponsored theme nights.
• Manages expense budgets related to sales activities.
• Manages revenue budgets to ensure appropriate allocation of sponsorship and ticket revenue.
• Researches and writes business action plans to support new business directions (theme nights, sponsored events etc…).
• Is expected to make 50 outbound phone calls per day to potential core customers
• Liaises with General Manager on sponsored programs -- departments to include game presentation, community relations, ticketing.
• Other related duties as required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Ideal candidates will have at least 2-3 years of sponsorship or related sales experience.
• Ideal candidates will have at least 2-3 years of ticket sales.
• Strong relationship with existing advertising agency and client relationships are a plus.
• Excellent people skills, with the ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with VIP's as well as internal and external clients at all levels are a must.
• High level of initiative and inner drive are preferred.
• Candidate must have excellent problem solving skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to generate new and creative sales ideas is needed.
• Candidates must be able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Computer literacy is preferred.
• The selected candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.


PREFERRED:
Knowledge of the advertising business.
• A degree or diploma in sports marketing or related field.
• Proficiency in MSWord, MSExcel and MSPowerPoint.
• Social media savvy.
• Knowledge and passion of the sport.

2012 Internships
The Green Bay Bullfrogs Northwoods League Baseball Team is looking for qualified candidates as interns for 2010. Bullfrogs internships are a great way to get started on a career in baseball, as interns get the chance to work in all facets of the organization.

Available Internships and Responsibilities:

Marketing Internship (Summer 2012)

  • Assist with distribution of Bullfrogs marketing material to potential sponsors

  • Assist with grassroots marketing material

  • Develop new leads for tickets and sponsorships

  • Assist with sponsorships

  • Distribute pocket schedules, ticket information and other Bullfrogs material to promote every home game

  • Help set up promotional items, programs, giveaways for each home game

  • Coordinate game day staff

  • Assist with special events and appearances

  • Assist with Bullfrogs Kid’s Reading Club

  • Bring new ideas and creativity

Ticket Sales Internship (Fall 2011 and Spring 2012)

  • Generate new leads for group outings  

  • Generate new leads for season ticket holders

  • Make sales calls daily

  • Working directly with the Director of Tickets to organize, allocate and distribute tickets, ticket information and other necessary material

  • Create positive relationships with area little leagues/youth organizations

  • Maintain database of all group leader/season ticket information

  • Assist management and Bullfrogs employees with ticket issues on game days

  • Assist with sales of Bullfrogs merchandise in office

  • Fill phone orders

  • Intern has opportunity to earn commission on sales made

Stadium Operations Internship (Summer 2012)

  • Support the Director of Stadium Operations with game day tasks

  • Assist with setup for game days

  • Follow through on all game day responsibilities

  • Set up of all concession areas in ballpark

  • Help coordinate and manage game day staff

  • Help staff prepare and maintain field for all games played at field

  • Assist with inventory and ordering

  • Available to work a full schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Any other task that is required in the day-to-day operations of running a baseball club

  • Dependable with reliable transportation

  • Available for all 34 home games and playoffs (if necessary)

Media Relations/Journalism Internship (Summer 2012)

  • Manage all baseball information, including daily statistical packages and game notes

  • Responsible for all press box operations, issuing press credentials to media covering events at the ballpark and maintaining a clean and professional working environment

  • Serve as liaison between members of the Bullfrogs and the local and regional media

  • Write and distribute press releases, newsletters and other team information to media and fans

  • Generate ideas and content and serve as editor for the gameday program, which will be updated for each home game

  • Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with local and regional media outlets, while aggressively pursuing ways to maximize coverage for the club

  • Responsible for all updates and new content for the official Bullfrogs website

  • Act as the official scorer during all Bullfrog home games

  • Strong knowledge of baseball rules and statistics

Requirements/Skills
Candidate must posses strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task efficiently, very detail-oriented, and great organizational skills. A great work ethic, positive attitude, customer service skills, team player and self-motivation are keys to succeeding in professional sports. Interns will be asked to work outside their job descriptions, so the ability to work well with change and unexpectedness is important. Each candidate must live in the area and have transportation and lodging available.Category
